Born in New York, raised there and in Los Angeles, Ari Kottler moved to Europe as a young man where he has been an English teacher first in Barcelona then Geneva for over 25 years. With a Master’s degree in English Literature from UCLA, he is passionate about teaching English as a second language within a cultural context. As a part-time Spanish-English interpreter as well, he understands that to learn another language, especially a universal one like English, is the best way to become engaged with others anywhere in the world.
